Sara Göbel
Sara Göbel was born in Hannover in 2002 and began playing violin at the age of five. She is currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in violin under Prof. Ulf Schneider at the Hochschule für Musik, Theater und Medien Hannover (HMTM Hannover).
In addition to her solo performances, Sara has a special passion for chamber music and has participated in several masterclasses. Recently, she was invited to a chamber music week with Renaud Capuçon in France and took part in the Starling-DeLay Symposium at the Juilliard School in New York.
Sara has extensive orchestral experiences, including memberships in the National Youth Orchestra of Germany and the Young German Philharmonic, among others. She also participated in a mentorship program with the Ottawa Symphony Orchestra and performs regularly with the State Orchestra of Lower Saxony. In 2024, she was an academy member of the Sarasota Music Festival in Florida and the Pacific Music Festival in Japan.
Sara currently plays a violin made by Stefan-Peter Greiner in Bonn in 2005, a valuable loan from the Deutsche Stiftung Musikleben.

– 1st Prize with the highest score in the National Competition “Jugend musiziert” in the duo category: piano and a string instrument with Mert Yalniz (Piano)
– WESPE Special Prize (follow-up competition to Jugend musiziert) for the best interpretation of a contemporary work
