Haeun Honney Kim

Korean/American violinist Haeun Honney Kim is a passionate and accomplished violinist who captivates audiences through her diverse performance experience as a soloist, chamber musician, and orchestra player. Haeun frequently appears as a soloist in many of the world’s most prestigious concert halls such as Carnegie Hall, Konzerthaus Berlin, Musikverein Vienna, Elbphilharmonie Hamburg, Melbourne Recital Centre, and Tonhalle Zürich.
Honney made her debut as a soloist at the age of eleven and since then, she has appeared as a soloist with orchestras all over the US and has gained international recognition by being a prizewinner of many competitions.
She has participated in many festivals, programs, and masterclasses all across the world such as the Schleswig- Holstein Music Festival, Sarasota Music Festival, Rencontres Musicales Camerata Lysy, National des Jeunes du Luxembourg, Aspen Summer Music Festival, New York String Orchestra Seminar, and the National Youth Orchestra of the United States
Honney plays on an 1895 Scarampella violin that has been graciously loaned to her by the Stretton Society.
