Leah began playing the piano when she was four years old and had her first cello lesson at the age of eight. Even as a child, she was involved in numerous chamber orchestras and ensembles. With the “Ministrings” chamber orchestra conducted by Herbert Scherz, she gained experience of performing both as an orchestral musician and as a soloist in various countries. As a member of the Zurich Youth Symphony Orchestra since 2011, Leah has had the chance to play in front of large audiences during concert tours in South Africa, Singapore, Taiwan, and Italy. She has also won various prizes and honors in national competitions. Leah is due to complete her Swiss high school leaving certificate in Lucerne in the summer of 2015 in a special category for gifted students of music and/or sport.
