Jenny Joelson

Jenny started playing the violin at the age of seven and took up the viola later, playing both instruments for some years before she decided to focus on the viola. She regularly plays chamber music and has given numerous chamber music concerts in Winterthur, Zurich and Geneva. She was principal violist in the Swiss Youth Symphony Orchestra, where she received much orchestral experience and played in the most important concert halls in Switzerland as well as on tour in Bratislava and in the Musikverein in Vienna. Jenny is also interested in historical instruments and plays the viola da spalla.
