The CD pays homage to the romantic sound world of Scandinavia. In addition to well-known pearls of Nordic romanticism, the new album contains rarities and infrequently performed jewels by composers who are only familiar within Scandinavia.
Nordic Dream was recorded at the Jesus Christus Kirche in Berlin, which is famous for its acoustics. For the ensemble, it was the ideal place to bring to the fore the Nordic enchantment of works by Kurt Atterberg, Dag Wirén, Jean Sibelius and others.
