On March 26, 2017 the LGT Young Soloists perform at the Shedhalle Zug. Don’t miss this feast for the ears!
The last performance of the LGT Young Soloists in Zug ended with standing ovations and four encores. Presented by the Theater Casino Zug, the Sunday Matinee on March 26, 2017 will surely electrify its audience again, for the young string players are bursting with energy and the sheer joy of their music-making. The programme features works by Camille Saint-Saëns, Max Bruch, David Popper, Jean Sibelius and Pablo de Sarasate.
On 26 September, the LGT Young Soloists will open this year’s Liedwoche (week of lied) at Schloss Elmau with the famous soprano Juliane Banse.
The singer, who grew up in Zurich, is at home on all the opera stages of the world and is one of the most renowned concert and lied singers. At Schloss Elmau, she will sing Richard Wagner’s Wesendonck lieder, among others. The ensemble members will perform solos by Massenet, Paganini and Waxman. But the highlight for them all is the accompaniment of the great soprano.
